Bird’s Eye View March 2010
By now the birds will be singing, nesting and generally causing
much joy in our world. Nest guest artist has a long musical history
which makes sense when you think about her wonderful painted
children’s furniture. Although she no longer plays an instrument,
her new art form, painting, shows a woman of much talent. Bright,
clear, playful acrylic notes have given way to softer oil studies.
Kristen took an oil painting class from Pam Ingalls and her world
was changed. She has become dedicated to oils as a medium and has
given time each day to complete a still life or a landscape. This is
no small job in addition to having a young family to care for.
